Commissions
I am more than happy to undertake a commission, and I understand that it must be a bit daunting to embark into the unknown on a project which could be fairly costly.
In order to give peace of mind to potential clients, an order for a commissioned painting does not carry an obligation to buy the finished work – you will merely have ‘first refusal’ when it is finished. In this way you will not feel obliged to buy something which has not turned out to be what you had in mind. Also, I would not wish anybody to have one of my paintings that they were not entirely happy with.
If you see a painting on the website which you like but has been sold, I would be more than happy to paint something similar, but it would not be identical.
